IMPROVE QUALITY OF COCOA PRODUCE.

The Managing director of Kuapa Kokoo limited (KKL), Mr. Kwasi Aduse – Poku has called on cocoa farmers in the country to ensure that they produce high quality and well dried cocoa beans for export. He explained that the major players within the cocoa industry incur heavy losses as a result of low quality cocoa produce.

 ’’I would like to urge you to take particular care of issues of quality. Please ensure that cocoa beans sent to the shed are thoroughly dried and of good quality’’. Mr. Aduse Poku noted.

The managing director gave this advice during the 16th annual general delegates’ conference of Kuapa Kokoo Farmers Union (KKFU) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi last Friday August 6th, 2010.

Over 2,000 delegates across the five regions where Kuapa Kokoo operates met and deliberated on the affairs of the Union.

He used the occasion to commend Kuapa Kokoo farmers and staff for their hard work over the years and expressed the hope that they would continue to do more.
